10 Lifestyle Hacks To Slay Your 2018 Goals

It's new year, and I guess we all have goals to slay. Your goals maybe;

  • Starting a business
  • Gaining financial freedom
  • Purchasing something big - like a house
  • Saving for retirement
  • Learning a new language
  • Loosing weight
  • Traveling & more.


I've posted my goals for 2018, if you don't mind - check it out. It's kinda personal but you'll definitely take something home.

It's high time we start slaying our goals before 2018 comes to an end. In today's post, I'll share with your some lifestyle hacks to slay goals for 2018.

What's this hacks gonna do? They'll help you slay your goals. You've got your strategy for slaying your goals? This Lifestyle hacks will add more strength to your strategy and before you know it you've slayed your goals.

Aaaand hey! I'm not here to talk about how to set goals and achieve them - This post contains lifestyle habits you should adopt if you want to slay your goals.

Sleep Less

We don't necessarily need to sleep for 6 hours, if you want to slay your goals, you should sleep less.

Sleep an hour late than usually or wake up an hour earlier. Use the time to do some stuffs that's gonna add value to your goals.

I'm always super busy, so I have decided to wake up an hour an earlier to read books, posts and more. So sleep less and use the opportunity to get something done.

Look For Motivation

Zig Ziglar once said, "People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily.

One thing that could kill your goals is if you're not motivated to slay them. So you shouldn't lack motivation - everyday read, listen, and do things that's gonna keep you motivated.

Stay Away From Negative Thinkers

Slaying your goals become super hard when you're surrounded by people who believe it's impossible to do what you want to do.

So you should avoid such people as much as you can - because with them around you it's gonna be difficult to slay your goals.

Take Away The "t" From "Can't"

You can never achieve your goals if you're not certain that you actually can.

Even if you're not surrounded by negative thinkers, you won't be able to slay your goals if you haven't believe you can.

So you should believe you can achieve anything (with a burning desire), in fact there's nothing like can't and should stop believing such word exist.

Get Yourself A Pocket Notebook

Often times than not, new ideas that's relevant to slaying your goals will flash into your head and if you don't save it immediately it's gonna disappear from your memory ASAP.

That's why I recommend you have a pocket notebook and also a pen, so anywhere you're you could easily record new ideas without hassle.

I recommend moleskine notebook, it has different sizes but the pocket size is just perfect - if you want other sizes then it's your choice.


Care For Your Mental Life

There's a popular saying, all work no play makes jack a dull boy.

You shouldn't work out your soul - it's unhealthy for our mental life.

So should have a specific time to read motivational books, spiritual books, play games, watch movies  and other stuffs that's necessary for the brain to function well.


Smile and Laugh More

Smiling and launching out loud is very-very essential.

You shouldn't only laugh or smile because you're happy but also because you want to be happy.

When we're happy we tend to be  super productive with our goals and other routines - So you should laugh and smile to be happy.


Learn to say NO

Seriously you shouldn't be the YES babe. Whatever comes your way like - ideas, deals and more - You just shout yesssss to it.

It shouldn't be so, the more you learn to say no, the more productive you become.

Do One Thing Everyday That Scares You.

What's that thing that always make you cringe?

If you want to overcome your fears, you should do it frequently. So what's that goal that scares you? Could you dedicated to working on slaying it daily? It works!

Join Mastermind Groups

If you want to slay your goals more quickly, you should join groups were it contributors has the same or similar goals with yours - there you should share challenges as well as success.

You could create yours and invite those that has similar vision with you to join. It could be via whatsapp or Facebook group or even real life conversation- and i recommend you keep It limit to 3-5 participant.

Those are some lifestyle hacks that is necessary to slay your goals this 2018 and beyond (I hope you love 'em). You may not need all of 'em - just flex whichever you're obsessed with.

Aaaand if you've already set your goals for 2018, do ensure it's a SMART goal - that's your goals should be specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-based.
